aptiQ™ SSRL89 Serial enrollment Reader

Overview
aptiQTM USB and serial enrollment readers are designed to simplify your credential enrollment process. With the use of one of these enrollment readers, you can easily enroll a smart card in your access control system using your computer. No software is required to operate the enrollment readers. The readers will also function on any operating system.

The USB model (SUSB89) emulates a keyboard and will keystroke facility code and badge ID fields from the card to the cursor’s location on the screen. The serial model (SSRL89) delivers the card’s data in 4 bit Binary Coded Data (BCD) with delimiters. Facility code data is of variable length and badge ID data is a fixed length of 9 digits right justified with zeros as pad data.

Each reader is compatible with aptiQTM smart credentials (MIFARE® classic and MIFARE DESFireTM EV1) and recognizes PIV credentials.
