Product Description
Schlage CT5000
The CT5000 is an offline single opening controller. It is designed to work with a variety of devices including wall mounted readers, electric strikes, electromagnetic locks, or QEL and EL exit devices. It is configured for three monitor inputs and three outputs plus Wiegand reader input options.
CT5000 controllers are also compatible with many brands and types of credentials including PIN code, magnetic stripe, proximity, and smart cards.
Convenient features include programming to support specialized card functions including toggle, freeze, pass through, construction, lockdown and PIN commands. A 15' cable with wallplate also allows remote programming of the controller via handheld device.
The CT5000 has three form C relay outputs, for strike, auxiliary and alarm. It also has three inputs that include door position and request to exit.
The CT5000 is compatible with many brands and types of credential technology including PIN Code, Magnetic Stripe (tracks 1, 2, and 3), 125 kHz Proximity, and 13.56 MHz Smart cards.
The CT5000 also supports many card functions including: normal, toggle, freeze, pass through, construction, lockdown and plus PIN applications.
If networked functionality is required in the future, the CT5000 can be upgraded to a WRI-400 by upgrading the firmware and adding one incremental piece of hardware. This provides greater adaptability in the field.

Perimeter Door Application
The CT5000 can be used for perimeter door applications with an automatic operator, electric strike and card reader
Narrow Stile Application
For narrow stile applications the CT5000 can be used with an electric strike and card reader
Panic Device Application
The CT5000 and a card reader along with the Von Duprin 914 Power Supply can control two EL exit devices for double door applications

Available Accessories
Decorative Plates: Schlage offers decorative plates for retrofit applications where the AD-Series or CO-Series does not completely cover the existing footprint. Decorative plates are available in three finishes to suite with your existing hardware: 626 Satin Chrome, 605 Bright Brass and 643 Aged Bronze. Retrofit overlay templates are available under the “Downloads” tab as a guide.
